Kamtaprasad Guru was born in Sagar in the year 1875. At the age of 17, he passed the entrance examination. For about a year in 1920, he edited the magazines 'Balsakha' and \"Saraswati\" published from Indian Press, Prayag. He was a man of versatility and had good knowledge of many languages. \"Satya\", \"Prem\", \"Parvati and Yashoda\" (novel), \"Bhaumasur Vadh\", \"Vinay Pachasa\" (Brajbhasha Poetry), \"Padya Pushpavali\", \"Sudarshan\" (mythical drama) and \"Hindustani Manners\" are his notable works. But Guruji's extraordinary works. The fame is not due to his above-mentioned literary works, but because of his \"Hindi grammar\", which was first published in Nagri Pracharini Sabha, Kashi in his article series between 1974 to 1976 and which was published in No. 1977 (1920 AD).
